Barcelona is a vibrant European city with a latin touch. People are super friendly and will easily talk with strangers in their everyday life. The Catalan capital has a very unpretentious vibe despite its strong cultural heritage and its huge popularity.
The local language is Catalan but if you speak Spanish (”Castellano” they call it here) or English you’ll be just fine.
Barcelona in early December is typically between 10°C and 20°C. October has been very nice (24°C) so let’s see how lucky we get 🤞
